Grading Information
Letter grades are used to represent 5th grade work.
A = 93-100
B = 85-92
C = 76-84
D = 70-75
F = below 70
A – represents a student who is consistently working way above 5th grade level and understands much more than is expected about the skills and concepts being taught.
B – represents a student who is consistently working slightly above 5th grade level and understands a little more than is expected about the skills or concepts being taught.
C - represents a student who is consistently working on 5th-grade level and understands the skills or concepts being taught. A student who earns a C is meeting 5th grade expectations.
D – represents a struggling student who is consistently working below 5th grade level and has little understanding of the skills or concept being taught.
F – represents a struggling student who is consistently working way below 5th grade level and has no understanding of the skills or concepts being taught.
